Hello, my name is Kearney Adams and I have Multiple Sclerosis. To begin my story, let me tell you about the mindset of an individual with a debilitating disease.
We are constantly looking for information that will change our lives.
Indeed, upon being first diagnosed, each day I spent hours on the Internet looking for answers that might improve my condition.
In fact, one day I found a medicine, Tysabri, I considered a 'breakthrough' medication.
In my second month on it, I'll never forget, one night around midnight, without thinking, I moved my legs. It was an involuntary movement that, of course, you don't have to think about to execute.
I suddenly realized what I had done, so, excitedly, I did it again.
I felt so strong, I thought I could stand up. So I sat on the side of the bed and asked my wife to place her hands on the tops of my legs.
I contracted those muscles so forcefully, she gasped in response.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stand, but, this experience gave me encouragement as I felt my strength was beginning to return.
And then, the worst thing happened - several individuals died from this medicine and it was taken off the market.
Consequently, I was devastated.
However, I knew it would eventually be re-approved for MS, so I patiently waited for it to re-appear.
About a year and a half later, it did, but it could no longer be prescribed for my type of MS, which is the primary progressive form of the disease.
My dreams were shattered.
But one day I met a lady at my church. She appeared to be very heathy, but I was shocked to discover she also had MS.
She told me her story of how the various MS medicines made her feel.
She didn't like them and decided to look for natural remedies on the Internet.
She began to find them and they slowly began to work. Within a little over a year, to her doctor's amazement, she was symptom free.
She told me of all the natural remedies she had found, and how they had worked for her.
Suddenly, I had hope again.
Do you have a remedy that may give someone out there hope again?
