"Homemade Arthritis Remedies Can Provide Needed Pain Relief"

By Kearney Adams *

Here are some Arthritis remedies from around the web that you can make. These remedies came from mailing lists, message boards, blogs, and web pages from around the Internet.
  • 1) Drinking raw potato juice may provide pain relief. A typical method for preparing the juice is to cut a medium potato into thin slices. Next, place these slices into a large glass of water allowing them to soak overnight. The water should be drunk the next morning before eating anything.
  • 2) The second item on our list of arthritis remedies is to drink ¼ cup of black cherry juice each day. Cherries contain Flavonoids that are powerful antioxidants that destroy ‘free radicals’, compounds that contribute to your Arthritic condition
  • 3) Drinking one cup of fresh pineapple juice each day may help. Pineapples contain the digestive enzyme Bromelain that has powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
  • 4) Mix two teaspoons of honey with two teaspoons of lemon juice in a cup of warm water. Take this twice daily.
  • 5) The fifth item on our list of remedies for Arthritis is to gently massage the inflamed areas with warm olive oil for pain relief.
  • 6) For number six, you should mix a cup of vegetable juice from any green leafy vegetable, and mix equal amounts of celery, carrot, and red beet juice. This helps to eliminate any deposits that may be found surrounding the joints.
  • 7) Drinking raw apple cider vinegar may help. However, one caveat, it may prove irritating to your stomach.
  • 8) Warm coconut oil mixed with several pieces of camphor massaged into aching joints reduces inflammation. It also enhances the blood supply.
  • 9) A tea that is made from the seeds of the alfalfa herb may be a useful treatment for Arthritis.
  • 10) The last item on our list of Arthritis remedies is to mix one-half teaspoon of Turmeric with lukewarm water. Take this mixture twice each day.
